Manjimup trip
A quick trip down south and I managed to find some great photo spots. This was shot out the back of the B&B where we were staying. Thanks to the lovely company at the Karri Rose bed and breakfast.
This was a lucky find, as the sunset was ended we drove down a no through road and found this by complete luck and just in time to capture the last rays of light with the evening fog/smoke.
This morning we drove to Diamond Tree and climbed it. The view is something else but I'll leave you in suspense, go check it out for yourself. I took this one less than half way up. 52m to the top.
Had an amazing lunch and the The Truffle & Wine Co.

No longer will I keep this a secret. Enjoy the view.
I'm sharing one of my secret spots to drive and hangout. The road leading here and beyond is one of those that should be on a car show. For this trip it was me and my rental, the new 3 series.
This spot is about half way through the drive. Mountains all around you and a crystal clear river to sit by.
On the way back Cape Town drive through Stellenbosch and have some biltong, wine and cheese. For a lot of people this is the perfect way to spend a weekend.

Kyoto River Cruising
This was a beautiful experience in Kyoto. Cruising up and down the river in Arashiyama. On the way back the captain seen here offered me his oar. 50m from the dock, he asked me to take us to the beach and park it.
After watching him for some time I managed to pick up the technique.
When we landed I got a round of applause from all the captains watching on the shore. I did an ok job but that just shows you the kindness and patience they have with tourists. #japan #travel #ampimages #holiday #spring #river #boat #kyoto #arashiyama
