A few weeks back I noticed my Sony TV showing some led faults. It was a minor fault in that a fine line of LEDs were lit up white at the bottom of the screen and a barely visible green line about a quarter of the way up.
After a quick online search I found Sony initiated a recall. My model was a 55" Hx955. It was a great looking and performing TV.
Today they pitched up with a new TV for me. They took the old HD and gave me a new 4k model, 55" X9000B.
Thank you Sony.
While I love getting free upgrades I do think the HX955 is a better looking TV but the new one has a better picture.
I will happily buy more Sony products based on this experience.
